Abu Dhabi-based Burjeel Holdings is set to extend its footprint in the healthcare sector, initiating four premier physiotherapy centres in Riyadh, in collaboration with Leejam Sports Company, the largest fitness centre chain in the Mena region. This partnership, titled PhysioTherabia, is introducing an innovative gym-integrated approach to physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and wellness services throughout Saudi Arabia.

These centres, named Olaya View Fitness Time, Al Munsiyah Men’s Gym, Al Munsiyah Ladies Gym, and Al Taawon Men’s Gym, mark the beginning of 60 proposed facilities both within and beyond Leejam Sports’ gyms across the country. An additional 16 centres are due for launch soon, with locations planned in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, and both the northern and southern parts of the Kingdom. By 2027, the burgeoning PhysioTherabia network is anticipated to boost the group’s revenue by a minimum of Dh600 million.

Abdulmohsen Al Ashry, the regional CEO of Burjeel Holdings, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing the accessibility and quality of healthcare services in the region. This move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, focusing on public health advancement and the evolution of its healthcare sector. The centres will offer a broad spectrum of services, including musculoskeletal, neurological, paediatric, sports injury, spinal, and back rehabilitation, plus hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).

Echoing these sentiments, Shadan Alsagri, Leejam Sports Company’s deputy CEO, highlighted the significance of these centres in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position in advanced physiotherapy and wellness. With a team of top healthcare professionals, the centres promise an integrated approach to wellbeing, targeting all age groups.
