Department of Health & Family Welfare appoints Vipul Aggarwal as new Joint Secretary By eHealth Network - 24 July 2023

Vipul Aggarwal, a 2001 batch IPS officer of the Gujarat cadre, has been designated as the new Joint Secretary for the Department of Health & Family Welfare. His appointment to this crucial role comes into effect immediately, and he is expected to serve a tenure of five years, until 15th March 2025. Vipul Aggarwal replaces outgoing Joint Secretary Shri Mandeep K Bhandari, IAS (AGMUT 2001). With his vast experience and expertise, Aggarwal’s appointment is anticipated to bring significant contributions to the health sector.
