HealthPlix releases “EMR on Mobile” bridging digital divide between Bharat and Doctors

HealthPlix Technologies, a SaaS platform for doctors, released the mobile version of its AI-powered EMR. Available on all Android and iOS devices, HealthPlix “EMR on Mobile” can be accessed through any smartphone, enabling real-time access to patients’ information from anywhere, at any time. Expanding its multi-channel strategy, HealthPlix’s “EMR on mobile” is free to use with no entry barrier, ensuring better care delivery in the most remote areas of Bharat.

The company’s goal is to bridge the gap in healthcare access across the country by enabling the use of a mobile friendly EMR to effectively treat and connect with patients. The “EMR on mobile” is built on the same architecture as the company’s flagship AI-powered desktop EMR. Some features like automated follow-up cycles ensure doctors don’t lose on patient health outcomes.

Commenting on the launch Subhadeep Mondal, VP-Products, HealthPlix Technologies said “This is not just another companion app to any web based EMR available in market. It is a standalone, mobile first and easy to use EMR packed with features meant for the Indian doctor. Any doctor in Bharat can instantly unlock remote care capabilities and adopt this EMR on mobile that has zero infrastructure requirements”.

“With advancements in mobile technology we firmly believe doctors need agile and mobile first solutions to drive better health outcomes in the country. With zero barrier for adoption, we are empowering doctors not only in metros but rural Bharat. We will continue to introduce mobile-first digital tools that will make doctors practice more efficient, scalable, and reliable”, said Burhanuddin Pithawala, Head – Growth Marketing, HealthPlix Technologies.

As India continues to build its digital health infrastructure, mobile first solutions like these can help doctors seamlessly align their practice with a single tap on their smartphone. The doctor’s mobile EMR can run on any Android(5) or iOS(11) and later and can be accessed via Google / Apple play stores.

The Mobile EMR has been accessed by doctors across Bharat in 350+ cities(including Tier-2 & Tier 3 cities). In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and social distancing taking centre stage, doctors while using EMR on mobile can manage both in person and online consultations seamlessly across the same pool of patients.

With this, HealthPlix aims to empower the doctor community with a readily available digital infrastructure and drive better health outcomes.  The startup is backed by marquee investors like Kalaari Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Chiratae Venture, JSW Ventures and has raised a total of $23.5 million in funding till date.
