The National Testing Agency or NTA has announced that it has extended the deadline of NEET-UG 2021 (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Undergraduates) on Tuesday.
According to NTA, eligible candidates will be able to submit an application for the entrance exam till 10 August at 5 pm at its on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. It also informed that students willing to apply for the entrance test can pay the application fee by 10 August at 11:50 pm. NTA has decided the extension the deadline of NEET UG 2021 as per the DGHS’s (Directorate General of Health Services) recommendations. Since the result will also be applicable for BSc (Hons) Nursing courses, interested and eligible students can now file an application for the examination, as stated in the official notification. “The Result of NEET (UG) – 2021 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data will also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms / applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules.”
