Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government will launch a cloud-based Health Information Management System or HIMS next year. The HIMS will enable people to obtain eHealth Cards, as well as booking appointments via online mode with doctors at government hospitals, news agency PTI reported citing an official statement.
As per the statement, the Delhi government will undertake surveys across the city for ensuring every citizen’s eHealth Card is processed. These next-gen cards will also be processed at hospitals and other dedicated centres. The HIMS, it said, will be equipped with a dedicated helpline for the convenience of people. Such helplines will also address the grievances of people. The setup of these helpline centres is to be completed within three months.
