“The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare provides technical and financial support to the states and UTs for strengthening their health system, including that of PHCs, CHCs and DHs through the National Health Mission (NHM). The states and UT governments are also encouraged to meet the objective of making Health Care services equitable, accessible and affordable by increasing their health budgets each year,” MoHFW added.
