Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced on Monday that the NEET UG 2021 will be held on September 12.

According to Pradhan, the application process for the undergraduate National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test will start from 5 pm on July 13 via the official website of National Testing Agency or NTA.


In a tweet, the Education Minister informed that the NEET UG 2021 will be held on 12 September 2021 across India by following the Covid-19 protocols. The application process for the examination will start from 5 pm tomorrow via the NTA website.

In a bid to ensure physical distancing protocol, the count of cities for conducting the exam has been increased from 155 to 198, he also said. The count of examination centres will also be hiked vis-à-vis last year as 3,862 centres were set up for holding the NEET UG 2020 exams.
