Eyeing to serve patients of Kalamboli and Drongiri areas of Maharashtra, the City and Industrial Development Corporation or CIDCO has set up two dedicated Covid Health Centres. Inaugurated by the state’s urban development minister Eknath Shinde, the newly setup Kalamboli health centre is equipped with 60 oxygen and 12 ICU beds. The new Dronagiri centre has the facility of 50 oxygen beds. Both have been created within a month’s time.
This hospital is reportedly equipped with features such as patient flow has been designed by a contactless system. This novel system put in place as a precautionary measure for protecting the hospital staff from Covid transmission during treatment.

The dedicated Covid facilities have warm water and RO or UV drinking arrangements on each floor. They are also equipped with separate washrooms for male and female patients.
