Healthcare Innovation SummitIn an endeavour to discuss and deliberate upon latest innovative practices and vision for the Indian healthcare ecosystem, Elets Healthcare Innovation Summit will be organised on Wednesday in New Delhi.

As the summit will gather a galaxy of healthcare experts, it will calibrate upon how to leverage innovative solutions to improve healthcare delivery system in India. They will discuss all facets of healthcare including scope of latest technologies and innovative practices to explore ways to make people avail affordable and cost-efficient medical facilities.


The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will be a Supporting Partner of the Summit, and Myanmar and Mauritius will be the Country Partners while the National Skill Development Corporation will be a Skill Development Partner.

Others supporting the summit include Vodafone Idea as Telecom partner, Oncostem Diagnostics, Reliance Jio, K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research as Associate partners, Allengers and Godrej as exhibitors, and Smiths Medical as supporting partner while Inspiron will be Startup Partner.

The summit would be one of its kind congregating top policymakers, decision-makers, experts, and healthcare stakeholders from South-Asian countries to brainstorm over various prominent issues affecting healthcare sector. The exercise would chalk out ways to leverage latest innovative practices to augment healthcare delivery process.


The summit’s objective is to leverage digital technologies, improve knowledge, skills and resources, and create channels for collaboration and consensus among key stakeholders.

With the Government providing an insurance coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family for the urban poor under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, its various dimensions will be a key feature of discussions at the summit.

Luminaries of healthcare sector would also brainstorm about different facets of healthcare including opportunity and challenges to provide affordable healthcare facilities under the topic “Ayushman Bharat: The Gamechanger for Building New Healthcare Ecosystem in India”.

Other topics of panel discussions include, “Taking healthcare delivery to the last mile-Opportunity and Challenges”, “Healthcare innovations in India — The way forward for cost-effective health to all”, “Innovations in Public Health: Role of NGOs in providing healthcare to the last-mile”, “Emerging global innovations and technology intervention in healthcare”, “Changing dynamics of hospital management and healthcare delivery”, “Emerging trends in hospital management and administration” and “Changing paradigm of making healthcare accessible and affordable to all”.
