100 Dental Clinics in Delhi

The Government of Delhi has decided to develop four more Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS) and will set up 100 dental clinics in the national capital.

Health Minister Satyender Jain, presiding over Delhi Smiles — Dental Health Utsav, said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s priority is to upgrade public health services and extend better healthcare services to the citizens in the capital by laying special focus and requesting the government to allocate and avail major share of budget.

100 Dental Clinics in DelhiThe minister said dilly-dallying approach in getting things done needs to stop. “Only then you can ensure better results and achieve the better goal”. He said: “Delhi Government will develop four more such MAIDS making total number of five and 100 Dental Clinics in Delhi to serve and provide better health care facilities to the people.”

He also released a postal stamp brought out by the Department of Post and Telegraph, Government of India, commemorating 35 years of excellence in Dental healthcare in India, MAIDS.
