RajasthanThe National Health Mission, Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan along with Elets Technomedia and eHealth Magazine, organised the 4th Annual Healthcare Summit Rajasthan & Precious Daughter of India Awards on Friday in Jaipur.

Inaugurated by Kali Charan Saraf, Minister for Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan, the 4th Annual Healthcare Summit & Precious Daughters of India Awards witnessed one of the finest congregations of top luminaries of the healthcare world from across India.

On this occasion, Naveen Jain, Mission Director, National Health Mission & Secretary, Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan, said the Healthcare Summit Rajasthan was to promote Healthcare Ecosystem towards fostering partnership and leveraging innovations and technology to transform healthcare delivery in Rajasthan.

We are implementing health schemes for the masses, without any political bias with regard to who is in power in any specific area. Our all schemes are meant to make a healthier Rajasthan for providing treatment to the patients in remote areas, we have boosted telemedicine services across the State. To enhance telemedicine services, we have signed MoUs with various firms too, the Minister said.

Banshidhar Khandela, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan, said The title of the initiative “ Daughters are Precious says it all and Rajasthan Government has proved it by aggressively and implementing and uting various awareness programmes. The state government has left no stone unturned for the cause of girl child.

ASHA soft scheme is one scheme which is now been copied by many states. We are committed to keep introducing may such schemes, he added.

Elaborating on the objective behind the Precious Daughters of India summit, Dr Ravi Gupta, Founder and CEO, Elets Technomedia Pvt Ltd, said In our continuous endeavour to strengthen the campaign “ Save the Girl Child “ Encourage & Empower, we have organised this event.

It is a celebration of the women across the world who have been successful and inspiring in various fields. This ceremony will give a strong message of how each and every daughter is precious and eventually help in spreading awareness against female foeticide, Dr Gupta, who is also the Editor-in-Chief of eHEALTH magazine.

The other distinguished personalities at the event included  Veenu Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan;  Naveen Jain, Mission Director, National Health Mission & Secretary, Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan;  Rajan Vishal, Additional MD, National Health  Mission (NHM), Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan; Vidushi Chaturvedi, Director, NHM, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Aimed at knowledge sharing among the key decision makers, strengthen academia “ Govt “ industry partnership,  and to bring out some of the important recommendations to enhance the healthcare space of the State, there were a number of panel discussions at the Summit.

Some of the topics included — Public-Private Partnership for Affordable Healthcare Delivery, Significance of Quality Medical Education for Developing Healthcare Ecosystem, Best Healthcare Practices & Innovations across the Nation, among others.
