Delhi-based vaccine research organisation Hilleman Laboratories has partnered with new future vaccine manufacturing hub of Imperial College London and Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), respectively”aiming to increase immunisation coverage around the globe.

According to PTI report, UK Department for Health has granted £10 million funding for the hub. It will allow Hilleman Laboratories to invest in innovation more effectively to explore high-quality vaccines and technologies.

“We are honored to collaborate with @imperialcollege and @EPSRC in the United Kingdom. We are gratified with this collaboration, which will help us develop our competences through international partnerships,” Hilleman Labs tweeted.

Hilleman Laboratories, a joint- venture between pharma major MSD and Wellcome Trust, recently announced to be collaborating with global public health community on the development of optimized vaccines with target product profiles relevant to low-income countries.
