Force Gurkha RFC India

Cougar Motorsport Pvt Ltd announced Wockhardt Hospitals as its medical partner for Force Gurkha RFC India 2016 for the second consecutive year to ensure appropriate medical facilities throughout the event to be held in Goa from 22 to 29 July.

In the light of competent role of NUSI Wockhardt Super Sociality Hospital in the 2015 edition of the event, it has been selected as medical partner for the 2016 edition as well. The hospital will not only deploy a specialised medical team at the challenge locations, but will also provide a fully-equipped ambulance throughout the event to deal with any emergency.

Force Gurkha RFC India is the India Chapter of one of the toughest motor races Rainforest Challenge of Malaysia. Launched in 2014 as Indias first international off-road motorsport event, it conducts a series of challenges for the competing teams over 8 days.

In 2016, around 25 teams are expected to participate in the competition. It will comprise around 24 Special Stages to test driving and vehicle recovery skills under extreme off-road conditions. As the level of difficulty keeps increasing as the challenge progresses, it is essential to ensure adequate medical care for all the participants and others.
