J.K Ansell has introduced two barrier protection solution concepts in Indian market catering to peri-operative hospital segment. First solution introduced is ENCORE® UNDERGLOVE which is a specialist latex powder free surgical glove meant to encourage double gloving in procedures extending for over 30 minutes. Based on many clinical studies, it has been found that surgeons tend to ignore such physical breaches in surgical gloves thus making them prone to blood borne pathogens. ENCORE® UNDERGLOVE comes in a special teal green color which acts as an indicating system whenever there is a physical breach in surgical glove. Teal green color of glove differentiates from the white or brown color outer gloves, hence acts as an alarm for surgeon to change the outer glove timely. Another initiative J.K Ansell has taken is the introduction of MICRO-TOUCH® N30 examination glove. As a step forward towards BARRIER PROTECTION FOR ALL this product is an innovative mini dispenser pack of nitrile examination gloves. This is a pale blue color nitrile examination glove in a dispenser box of 30 pieces each. This product is meant for hand barrier protection for healthcare professionals, taking care of IN-PATIENTS. Product comes in the right pack size which can be easily dispensed to an inpatient without any worry of glove wastage, at the same time providing protection without probable complications from latex powdered gloves.
