With the Indian medical diagnostics market poised to surge to USD 44.87 billion by 2030, this partnership is a timely intervention aimed at addressing the shortage of skilled frontline healthcare professionals. Orange Health Labs, known for its rapid, at-home diagnostic services, is scaling its hiring from the current 300 MLT professionals annually to an estimated 1,000 per year over the next five years. The collaboration is expected to significantly contribute to this expansion by offering trained and certified professionals ready to meet the demands of a fast-evolving diagnostics landscape.

Orange Health Labs, launched in 2020, is disrupting the traditional diagnostic model with its innovative approach, delivering sample collection within 60 minutes and test results in just six hours. Currently active in major metros like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Bengaluru, the company has already onboarded over 1,000 clinic partners, emphasising convenience and quality in diagnostic care.

Virohan brings to the table a robust training ecosystem for aspiring Medical Laboratory Technologists, with a curriculum covering clinical pathology, haematology, immunology, serology, biochemistry, histopathology, and cytopathology. Students also receive hands-on experience in advanced lab practices such as blood banking and laboratory management. This immersive training ensures that graduates are not just certified but also job-ready.
