Yashoda Hospitals has appointed Pradeep Mishra as the Group Head – Procurement & Supply Chain. In this role, he will lead the end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations, encompassing all operational expenditures (Opex), capital expenditures (Capex), and civil purchases, reinforcing the hospital group’s commitment to efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

With an extensive career spanning nearly two decades in healthcare supply chain management, Mishra brings a wealth of experience in procurement, negotiations, inventory management, operations, and pharmacy automation. His leadership in optimizing supply chain processes is expected to enhance operational efficiencies at Yashoda Hospitals.

A Proven Leader in Healthcare Procurement

A proven leader in healthcare procurement, Mishra has held several senior leadership roles in prominent healthcare organizations before joining Yashoda Hospitals.

At Paras Health, he served as Vice President of Central Procurement & Supply Chain Management from April 2024 to February 2025 and as Associate Vice President from April 2021 to April 2024. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in overseeing procurement strategies and implementing cost optimization measures, ensuring efficiency in supply chain management.

At Fortis Healthcare, he led pharmaceutical procurement as Group Head Pharma Procurement, where he was responsible for securing competitive pricing, optimizing vendor management, and streamlining procurement operations to enhance overall efficiency.

At Medanta – The Medicity Hospital, he served as Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain from April 2013 to December 2017. In this role, he was instrumental in standardizing procurement processes, improving inventory management, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations to support hospital needs effectively.

His experience also extends to an international role with Tiger Medical Group in Shanghai, China, where he worked as India Supply Manager. Here, he managed sourcing, procurement, and regulatory compliance for medical products, gaining valuable exposure to global healthcare supply chain practices.

Additionally, his tenure at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Max Healthcare further strengthened his expertise in hospital procurement, supply chain operations, and pharmacy management, contributing to improved efficiency and regulatory compliance in these institutions.
