NEET & JEE Main amid Corona

Students across the country have started social media campaign, urging the government to postpone the NEET and JEE main exam, scheduled to be held next month.  Taking to Twitter using #PostponeJEE_NEETSept, students are requesting Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to take a decision to extend exam dates amid corona outbreak, posing risk to their health. The key exams, gateway for medical and engineering colleges have already been delayed.

Earlier, the exams were scheduled to take place in July but were postponed till September after the Education Ministry took into account concerns of students amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The JEE entrance examination is now scheduled for September 1 to September 6 while the medical entrance (NEET) slated for September 13.
