Smokeless forms of tobacco affects genes: Research
Researchers from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India found that chemicals present in chewing tobacco and other smokeless forms of tobacco affect the bodily enzymes along with impairing the genes or DNA.
