Apollo Spectra Hospitals partners The Esthetic Clinics to introduce world class services

Apollo Spectra Hospital has tied up with The Esthetic Clinics, one of the leading centres of plastic surgery in India, to launch state of the art facial cosmetic surgery and aesthetic services in Delhi.

A unique procedure that will be introduced amongst other services would be the hair regrowth treatment called QR 678 that has been developed in India. It has been invented by Celebrity Plastic Surgeon, Dr Debraj Shome, who is one of the few innovators from India to receive a US Patent from the United States Patent Office for the invention.

Commenting on the quality of the services that will be offered at the new centre, Dr Debraj Shome, founder, The Esthetic Clinics said, “Till very recently, such services were only available in the west but with the introduction of the facility, patients can hope to get trustworthy and state of the art services without incurring much expenses. All procedures are US FDA approved and will be carried out with utmost precision so as to give patients the best in globally approved medical standards.”

Approximately 1000 patients with hair loss from NCR and North India, have been treated with QR 678 injections. A study published in Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy showed significant reduction in hair fall in 83% of the patients on hair pull test. Most patients had a decrease in the number of vellus hairs, increase in number of terminal hairs, and increase in shaft diameter.

Seventy-five percent of the patients believed that the hair injections aided the treatment of their hair loss, and benefited in post-hair transplant patients. Post the study, significant increase in total hair count continued to be seen.
