Australian healthcare organisation, Global Patient Portal (GPP) has announced to join hands with India-based video conference company PeopleLink Unified Communications to introduce Netik – Quick Clinic for patients to consult doctors.
“We believe, Netik – Quick Clinic will benefit the Indian medical market and assist patients in obtaining a better access to healthcare,” Global Patient Portal CEO Micheal Koss said.
According to an official statement, the telehealth portal Netik allows a patient to store and share his/her medical images and e-prescription while consulting the doctor—further reducing stressful and expensive hospital transits—and ensures safeguards of patients’ medical data.
Patients can also shop prescribed medicines, counselling along with updates on healthy living, post and pre-operative care and balanced diet. Its launch is due on mid-February 2018.
“We are happy to get associated with GPP in their endeavour to bring something effective for the patients and medical practitioners in India,” PeopleLink Unified Communications CEO Amit Chowdry said.
