Mumbai-based PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre, a leading multi specialty facility in India, celebrated the international quality week from November 7 to 11.

The event was aimed at developing new approach towards employee engagement and development with a focus on enhancing quality and safety at the hospital, the hospital said in a statement.

“The quality and safety week provided a platform to each and every member of our organisation to share their ideas and initiatives which play an important role in enhancing the quality of our services for patients, said Gautam Khanna, CEO, PD Hinduja Hospital and MRC.

To enhance employee knowledge and growth, multiple informative lectures were organised on topics like fire safety, disaster management, ergonomics at ones workplace, employee safety, etc.

Besides this, employee engagement activities like daily quiz contests and poster competitions were organised for doctors, nurses, attendants and non-medical staff.

The initiative was taken to bring awareness among more and more people and also get everybody under one umbrella and work towards accomplishing the mission of the hospital, said Joy Chakraborty, COO, PD Hinduja Hospital and MRC.
