At the recently held Association of Practising Pathologists (APP) National Pathcon & Lab Expo 2015, Suresh Vazirani, Chairman and Managing Director – Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd., was felicitated for Transasias Pioneer of Make in India Concept initiative. This was bestowed by the Honorable Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan acknowledged the role of the APP in the areas of Continuing Medical Education and Quality Assurance. He further appreciated their efforts in organizing CME activities and proficiency testing programmes, thereby helping a large number of medical laboratories in improving their services, ultimately benefitting the common man.

The Association of Practising Pathologists founded in the year 2001, started with a dream and mission of achieving high quality in all the diagnostic laboratories. It has been organizing its annual event in the form of PATHCON every year. This was the 2nd National Conference and was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The conference was attended by over 500 eminent and well-known doctors and practicing pathologists from various parts of Northern India.
