Wipro healthcare and life sciences the third-largest Indian IT services firm’s CEO Sangita Singh has quit after spending 23 years in the company.

Singh, one  of the few prominent top-level women utives in India’s $146-billion IT industry, spent over two decades at Wipro and was one of the most experienced utives at the company.

She had set a goal of US $1-billion business in healthcare and life sciences by 2016.

Senior VP Jeffrey Heenan-Jalil, who is currently the global head of Wipro Analytics, will take over as the global head of healthcare & life sciences strategic business unit.
