The Madurai-based Aravind Eye Care Hospital will be allotted with seven acres of land to set up a Rs 100 crore eye hospital at Tirupati.
The administration of the Lord Venkateswara hill shrine has announced in a monthly meeting of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) to provide the land in a prime locality.
According to reports, TTD would collect Rs 7 lakh as an annual rental charge or the land to be allotted to the eye hospital.
