QuantumID Technologies, a key player in the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) segment, is coming with an RFID solution for the pharmaceutical sector. The product would be developed at its R&D centre in Pune, India. The company is bringing ePedigree and anti-counterfeiting solutions for the pharmaceutical sector. Currently the company is focusing on a solution for four verticals, retail, pharmaceuticals, defence and the automobile segment. The RFID solution includes smart cards, access cards, hardware, software and embedded systems. QuantumID is planning an investment of over $1 million in the next two years in expanding its facilities in India.
