In related news, a new report by research firm KLAS predicts that more than one-third of physician practices and community health clinics are likely to soon replace their EHR systems with technology from well-known vendors. For the report, KLAS interviewed nearly 400 health care providers and found that 35 percent of all respondents are replacing their EHR systems and 43 percent of physician practices with more than 100 doctors are doing so. Among the health care providers replacing their systems, the report found that: 16 percent were considering products from Allscripts; 12 percent were considering products from Epic; and 10 percent were considering products from NextGen.
