The American Journal of Medicine (AJM) has launched a blog to create a dynamic forum where physicians and other healthcare professionals can discuss the research and applications for clinical practice that have been published in the Journal. They plan to call it a Blog AJM. “The American Journal of Medicine has been a leading medical journal for more than 50 years,” said Joseph S Alpert MD Professor of Medicine, University of Arizona College of Medicine and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal. “The editorial and administrative arms of the Journal and publisher Elsevier feel that the time is right to take greater advantage of the interactivity and social networking opportunities offered by the web. Therefore we have launched the AJM blog. “We welcome opinion, relevant statistics, quotations from other sources, rational and thoughtful commentary and academic debate.
