eHEALTH Bureau Fresenius Medical Care, a leading name in dialysis equipments and services has introduced ‘Home Heamodialysis concept’ in India, for the first time, it claimed. The announcement was made at the 13th annual PDSI Conference organised by Peritoneal Dialysis Society of India held at St John National Academy of Health and Sciences, Bangalore recently as the conference is dedicated to the various developments and evolutions taking place in peritoneal dialysis with famous nephrologists presenting their papers.Dhruv Chaturvedi, General Manager, Fresenius Medical Care India Pvt Ltd said, “We are extremely proud to introduce ‘Home Heamodialysis’ concept at such a premium congress like the 13th Annual Conference of PDSI 2010. We are also happy to introduce Peritoneal Dialysis products which are in line with the patient’s requirements which are extremely safe, convertible and minimise the chances of infection as it reduces touch points. He further emphasised that home hemodialysis gives patients an additional choice of dialysis. Along with PD products and a whole range of HD products Fresenius will try and strengthen the commitment to the dialysis world by introducing the latest module of dialysis that is home hemodialysis, which not only gives patients the liberty, independence and a convenient lifestyle but also a superior therapy as they can do dialysis at there own convenient long hours.
