Global Baroda Hospital (GBH) in India has entered into an information-sharing agreement with US-based Englewood Orthopaedic Hospital to provide international standards of medical care for joint replacement surgeries.

Under the agreement, the hospitals will share the latest developments, research and technology available for conducting joint replacement surgeries.

GBH orthopaedic surgeon Dr Rajiv Shah said the tie-up will allow them to use the US hospital’s research base and technology when dealing with complicated cases. “The hospitals will also conduct cohort joint replacement studies taking cases of patients in both countries,” Shah said.
