Medwin Hospital recently received a National Accreditation Board for hospitals & Healthcare (NABH) certificate and it is now the first hospital in Andhra Pradesh and the 20th in India to do so. After presenting the certificate to the hospital officials at a function in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy said Medwin has set the standards for other hospitals in the state to emulate. He urged the hospital management to always strive hard to provide quality medical care, and stated that efforts must be put in to take health care to the poorest of the poor. Medwin Hospitals Managing Director and Chief Cardiologist Ramesh Babu said, ”we were the first to get The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) certification earlier and now NABH Accreditation. The accreditation is expected to boost Indias Medical Tourism, helping tourists on a visit to India to help them restore to health from their ailments by accessing the best medical care of Indian doctors. India has become the 12th country to join this group.
