Ealing Primary Care Trust announced that 22 surgery patients will receive GP appointment reminders and health information on their mobile phones across West London region. Ealing PCT has selected the iPLATO Patient Care Messaging and the Orange network to offer the messaging service. NHS has approved the iPLATO’s platform in security and confidently standpoint and work together for patient administration system. Patients can register to access this service without any fee. Orange network will send the text messages but it can be received by any network. Patients can unsubscribe from the service at any time. The automated system will reduce the time for taking appointment of doctors.
