National e-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA), Australia, is on a move to identify e-Health standards and infrastructure to support interoperability of all information systems across the state and territories. NEHTA has just completed a month long programme of consultation with industry leaders from the US, UK and Canada. The consultation was held to discuss International standards, best practice, and process and simplify procurement and deployment of e-Health solutions. Dr Ian Reinecke, CEO, said many nations are strive at the e-Health and encountered complexities. With the consultation of other countries, Australia will learn from them and seek the international alignment on key areas such as e-Health standards.
