Helicomm, a privately held company in Carlsbad, is introducing a real-time wireless location tracking solution, which provides immediate and accurate tracking of personnel, equipment and assets. Helicomm will show this new wireless location tracking system at the International Wireless Communication Expo in Las Vegas. Helicomm’s new location tracking system consists of wireless mesh Access Points, low power Mobile Tags and application management tool interface to enable location services over a wireless mesh network. This system is currently under customer trials in the target markets of public safety, logistics, asset management and healthcare. Helicomm provides wireless networking solutions built upon the new ZigBee, IEEE 802.15.4 and IPv6 global standards for reliable, secure, low-power, cost-effective wireless networks.
